I have no idea who Israel is targeting, but if history is any guide, it is Hamas terrorists.

And Hamas terrorists make it a POLICY to hide among civilians.

For now, I'm giving Israel the benefit of the doubt because they have very much earned it.

The only war crimes I've seen evidence for are those of Hamas.

You're making excuses for Hamas. This is their war. They hide among their own women and children to use them as human shields.

Overwhelmingly? In Gaza maybe, but Palestinians as a whole support them at 53 percent at last count. So, yeah, it sure looks like they are still majority pro-hamas

Any organization that calls Israel "apartheid" is comically biased.

Israel is the only country in the region where a lesbian Muslim woman can vote, get an education and hold elected office.

Claiming it's apartheid is like claiming the US was apartheid when occupying Iraq because we didn't allow Iraqis to be citizens of the US.

Words have meanings, and the accusation is demonstrably absurd.

That's 100 percent on Hamas and on the Palestinian people who allow it.

The silver lining here is that because the Republican supreme Court so vastly overplayed their hand here, they might inadvertantly have saved the nation from a fascist takeover.

Hear me out:

Joe Biden was previously doomed to be a 1-term president. The last election was an anti-Trump referendum, and it was a squeaker! Very little abundant base was actually excited be voting for Biden.

Heading into the next election we were ALWAYS going to have a mediocre Biden presidency, where none of our major crisis was solved, because Biden never aimed that high to begin with. It was never going to be enough to excite the base on the left.

And worse, with Republicans controlling the House, the second half of Biden's term was doomed to be a do-little presidency. Going into the election we were going to be asked to vote for a man who hadn't done much for the last two years, and who never even talked a good game about the radical change we need (universal healthcare, universal basic income, removing ALL student debt, etc).

Trump being back in the ballot helps a bit, but I'm not sure people are still feeling the immediacy and the urgency to keep him out of the oval office as they did at the end of this last term.

It was going to be another squeaker, and my money was on the Republicans because of their ability to ratfuck the vote with gerrymandering and voter suppression.

But NOW we have the supreme Court lighting a fire under the left. They struck down roe, and they struck down student loan forgiveness.

That may be enough to put us over the edge.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in how the United Nations describes anything to do with Israel. Their bias is of the charts.

Remember, this is an organization that officially denounced Israel for human rights violations 20 times in one year, and for every other nation on Earth, with all the modern slavery, sex trafficking, genial mutilation, honor killings, murder of LGBTQ, marriage and rape of 7-yr-girls, denying basic education to women, forcing women to fully cover their bodies, mass incarcerations, etc,etc... For all the rest of the world, 6 denouncements.

So yeah, the UN is not a serious organization when it comes to Israel.

Yeah, I see denouncing and illustrating terrorist attacks as a good thing.

NO ONE wants the Palestinians, and that should tell you a lot about who are really the villains in this conflict.

Palestinians have caused terrible violence and civil unrest in the Arab countries that have tried to host them.

This is a population that voted for terrorists to lead them, AFTER Israel had already removed itself from Gaza.

Strong disagree. Israel has a right to exist and a right to defend itself.

Israel is TINY. EVERYTHING is near a border with one of their hostile neighbors.

Palestine isn't a state. It never became it state. It never has been a state.
