Yeah, I wish there was a way to delete a post with out deleting it to preserve comments.

Maybe an "abandon" feature. It removes your user name from public view and does a simple find and replace to remove your name in the comments. The post can live on, but now you have nothing to do with it. The user would have a "abandoned post" counter, this so we know if a user is constantly abandoning posts and can block them. Or put a hard cap, more than 2 a month = banned from posting until mod appeal. Posts with 0 comments face no penalty and are deleted.

Someone still needs to be able reference to the original poster for modding and blocking purposes.

I knew the paper was about something else, I was applying the philosophy to the picture of imitation crab.

At one point that was a fish...I don't think its intended purpose was to get mutilated, processes to look vaguely like crab meat and eaten. But I'm not a fish, so I could be wrong.

But in general, communicate, never expect him to read your mind. Dropping hints and mind games generally end badly, guys are pretty much oblivious to that stuff. Appreciate him, and make sure he knows it. Seriously, saying thank you goes a long way. but the TDLR; A few years back Eufy (owned by Anker), they didn't tell anyone video was stored on the cloud, and then it turned out the live video stream was exposed to the open web. Initial response was lack-luster and Anker didn't own up to anything.

Its been a few years, possible things are different. Also possible initial issues were blown out of proportion, and I never heard any of the "corrections" no one ever makes.

It's in its early days, but consumerrights.wiki has potential to become a very valuable place to check before buying anything. The summery there is much better.

I've been very happy with UGreen as a replacement to Anker, after the Eufy thing. Have not tried a power bank yet, but the charger and cables have held up so far.
