  • It "looks" nice from afar. Apparently, when you look closer, then it looks less nice - or useful, to be fair. For example, the truck bed appears to be inconvenient. And it seems that in some models, you can't even fit a dirt bike in it.

  • To me, bots are just noise if not summoned directly. Like when you're having a conversation with your friend, then a loud roomba comes in and tries to clean the very space you're sitting at.

"Hey bot, tell me facts about the article OP posted."

    "Sure! [etc, etc]"

    Versus:

"HEY I KNOW YOU HAVEN'T ADDRESSED ME DIRECTLY BUT YOU SAID THE WORD 'BUTT' 17 TIMES TODAY!"

  • Thanks for your answer. That's too bad to hear. I thought neural networks were already being used in other ways other than LLMs or image generators. e.g. those evolutionary "AI" algorithms that can play and win video games, etc? I thought that someone somewhere were using them to create something more serious or useful.

  • The language is not clear.

" As a vegetarian, which of these three options you want the least and which you want the most? You MUST choose to continue:

    1. Chicken sandwich.
    2. A kick in the balls.
    3. Pork sandwich.

    "

You are saying that a reasonable person (vegetarian in this case, and disclaimer: I am not vegetarian) would say "well, I want a kick in the balls the least, so I'll choose that. Now, fuck, I HATE chicken sandwiches and I HATE pork sandwiches. They both make me puke. But if I have to choose, I guess I'll go for the chicken sandwich. Hey pollster, I want the chicken sandwich the most." And the pollster writes "Chester wants the chicken sandwich the most." Yeah, very clear.

  • Chromecast, at least the one I own, does one thing and does it well. It plays whatever I tell it to play through my phone. I turn on my dumb TV, cast, done.

I will NEVER buy a smart TV. Ever. My experience with them has been subpar compared to a Chromecast.
