I don't think a $10K secondhand pickup truck exists anymore.-- At least not one with a working engine.
I think it was an agreement she was told she had to make in order for the nod.
People heard him. He had many rallies and participated in primary debates. He also had a book out, did interviews. He had a very repetitive message which is normally good for politicians. Some of his ideas were very out of the norm for the time, some isolationist ideas-- not saying they were not valid but there was an alternative running that fed into people's prejudices and encouraged them to be hostile and mean- fed their dopamine centers, and said the words "communist" and "socialist" a lot. Also there were a lot of Democrats who wanted to vote for a Democrat, not a "Democrat for convenience."
He is too old to run for president. Can't we just stop with the gerontocracy?
It was at least kinder, humorous and creative. The National Enquirer which is packed with made up stuff designed to hurt and exploit people.
He may try to take over one of the companies developing CRISPR technology to grow himself new organs... or just buy some from a shady body parts dealer in the 3rd world and claim that he had them grown using CRISPR.. (lie like he always does) and make big promises on how you will be able to special order your cure at a kiosk in 2 years.
Remember Boehner was/is a heavy drinker as well.
Murder is only a crime if you are not rich, a politician or a policeman.
Actually it was the job of Congress to do that. Any Executive Order Biden signed could be reversed (and most were) by the next CIC in the WH.
News about her generally irritates conservatives who go out of their way to criticize and mock her. So I while I am generally aware of her and admire her commitment to the environment, her ability to get press that annoys the conservative ultra capitalists who hate windmills and solar fields gives me joy. She just triggers them while never thinking about them.
Did you read her book? I have it on my TBR list but it is a long list. I usually like to read fiction but try to do a nonfiction/memoir in about every 3-4 books (I read about 5/wk which varies d/t length).
We have all been "convinced" to carry tracking devices with us everywhere we go. Way cheaper than a brain implant.
The CRISPR technology is more advanced than brain implants.
Like "Unauthorized Toast"... with all the DRM laws, we could get arrested and charged with a felony for trying to repair ourselves.
Not "The Matrix" -- we will just serve as batteries for someone's AI or Crypto farm while having/living in lucid dreams?
I am siding with the zombies in that apocalypse.
Technology and social media are entirely under regulated with basically no privacy restrictions. Look what DOGE has done to the entire American Federal agencies.. "Read-Only"-- As If. They just pirated all our information.
Like everything else, it will be come enshittified and we will be living in the Johnny Mneumonic world.
The billionaires today have an opportunity to eliminate world hunger yet they don't. Instead, they fly rocketships, sail on giant yachts and buy island compounds or towns in Texas. So yeah, No one at that RB club is going to win a Nobel Peace Prize. They all suck.
