  • Thanks a lot, what I really like about your posts is the fact that they only talk about games and not all the corporate shit and internet drama that most (if not all) gaming news outlets have become.

I never quite liked Transistor, the game is beautiful and the OST is superb (you can get it in lossless Flac at Bandcamp, and it it totally worth it) but the gameplay was too simple for me. Maybe it’s that I was a lot into Xcom at that time and the comparison between them was inevitable for me. Also I’ve tried Death Stranding twice and no dice so far. I think the stealth on human encampments it was made me quit. But I’m willing to try it again in the future as the world building and weird history/characters have me interested.

  • Dunno, I played 3 Ubisoft games over the years and only finished one, Far cry 3, and had to rush it mid game because it was starting to feel boring. They are not bad games per se, it’s only that they are only fun for around 15-20h, beyond that the gameplay loop doesn’t hold up well.

  • About damn time. I ordered a Nothing Phone 3a and I’m very excited because I saw a user post a list of the supported codecs and LC3, a requirement for Bluetooth LE audio and thus Auracast was there. This is huge not because the Auracast part which I’m not very interested but because this will allow me to connect my hearing aids (Resound Nexia 9) and enjoy high quality audio stream and two way freehand calls, something that on Android it’s only possible with Bluetooth LE Audio and the LC3 codec.

And it is about damn time because the requirements for Auracast have been there since Bluetooth 5.2 some 4 years ago.

  • They gave away Weird West on Epic a while ago. I checked it on Game Pass and had to quit it. The atmosphere is very good and overall looks interesting but the controls were awful for me to get used to. If you are going to get it I recommend checking it before the return window expires, just in case.

  • Can’t stress the frustrating part enough. Carpeting the entire level with clamp traps is enough for the most brave of souls to rage quit. Plus there were some weird things going on with the turn controls.
