4 channel amp - run 4 channels or two front and a sub
  • For anyone reading this, here’s what I have currently (I wouldn’t consider this budget but due to space constraints, I was quite limited in options).

Head unit: VDO Continental TR7412UB-OR Amp: Focal FDP Sport V2 Front speakers: Morel Virtus Carbon Nano Integra 62

I’ve already ran wiring everywhere because I had the vehicle taken apart and didn’t want to do it again. Pain in the ass for sure!

4 channel amp - run 4 channels or two front and a sub

So idk where else I’d ask this.. I have very limited space in my vehicle and have been deciding on how to get the most out of my space/equipment/money. I bought a 4 channel amp and two new front speakers.

Since there’s no factory rear speakers, I’m torn between adding in the two rear channels or bridging the amp output to run a single sub.

Maybe eventually I’ll do both but for the time being, what would you do? I know the sub would bring back the lows that I need but I also think that two rear fill speakers would help considerably as well. Curious on your thoughts!

How to search within a specific Lemmy page?

Apologies as I’m still learning the new platform and am unclear on specific terminology.

Is there a way to search within a specific community? Once I navigate to somewhere like the News community on lemmy.world, is there a way to search within that community?

To further clarify, in Reddit terms, searching within a specific subreddit. The lemmy equivalent.

    Thanks!
