It is similar to Lemmy in that it's also a link aggregation platform. What makes it different is that it is created by different people using different code and has different priorities. But the same basic features are present.

I can't speak to why it might be better than Lemmy because I don't use it. Maybe some people think it's better because of the features it offers. Maybe others don't like the Lemmy devs and prefer supporting a different application. There are lots of possible reasons.

I have no diagnosis, but for me this is "oh I have a point I want to make about this, but it is rude to interrupt so wait until the speaker is done speaking." Then my mind wanders a bit while I was waiting. Then I completely forget what I was going to say.

I think people should boycott entities that they feel deserve it, but only to the extent that their financial situation warrants it. For example, I try to not buy from Amazon. I think everyone should do this, but I have the luxury of being able to afford paying more for the same thing bought elsewhere. Some people don't, and that's OK.

I can't answer the first question because my wife and I both have counts of 1: each other. The second question...if I had an issue I would make that clear before a first date of it was indeed a deal breaker.

You're always allowed to change your plea. You should not plea to anything (in fact you shouldn't talk to the cops at all) until you've discussed your situation with your lawyer.
