Europeans, how common are random spam phone calls in your country?
  • In Croatia, let's say one attempt a month. I'm calling it an attempt since I let Android block them automatically.

A spam call getting through the filter happens maybe once a year.

But they never call again after I have my fun with them :D Delisting your number in the public phonebook helps.

  • I'm not arguing for cloud flare hahahh it's horrible. I'm just saying, it's just one of many ways your data is taken. I don't see why the backdoors I listed should be used for targeted "attacks" only. They call it telemetry and it's "used to improve the product you use" hehehh

  • I think he's saying they don't have to if they can read it off of your pc or the server before it's even encrypted. OS backdoors, in-app backdoors, hardware backdoors inside the CPU like Intel ME...

  • We text now, stop calling me.
  • Yeah, i see that. I guess I'm just lucky then. I mean there's this one survey company that nags ppl, but you block their one number or ask them to leave you alone and that's it. And the boring sellers always get flagged by Google so that's filtered out automatically. Basically, whenever my phone rings, it's for me personally and it's a call I'd want to take.

  • what could it mean?
  • I went through all the endings in under two hours and spent the rest of the afternoon in intense terror about the idea of eternal life and the possibility of eternal suffering..

Probably not what the author intended, but I'm not playing it again.
