  • As I've enjoyed saying: the show has reversed the polarity up its own vortex. A day after watching and I'm still traumatised by the exuberance of the shark-jumping I saw. The Doctor riding a Flash Gordon-like skysled to crash into Ming's Rani's HQ was just one I can't seem to shake. Or the Two Ranis Ronnies' joke. "It's goodnight from me."

  • Yes. I'm out. Watched for about 50 years. I knew it when the Rani did the Two Ronnies' sign off before she time-looped away. There's only so much shark-jumping you can watch.

  • Ho ho ho. I guess that the mainstream newspapers are also "down the conspiracy rabbit hole" too. Maybe check in with media other than GB News, Talk Radio and Fox.

  • Of course, in your reality there's no state infiltration of organisations. No women made pregnant by undercover agent-provocateur-cops. No 2000 groups in which state agents rose to leadership posts. No knighted lawyers who could be used to ensure that a mass leftwing party toed the line during a period of economic hardship. No organised anti-semetic smearing of a popular left-wing politician...

No, it's a world of everything being how it appears and fairness, honesty and decency. Honest politicians and democratic votes. Oh, to have such a view of politics.

  • Owen Jones wasn't actually actually a supporter of Corbyn and was quite public about his criticisms of the possibility of a Corbyn victory (Corbyn's close supporters regard Owen's actions as part of the campaign against him).

While Starmer didn't personally "overthrow" Corbyn, he was part of the internal Labour Party's milieu that sought to work against the Corbyn leadership during the election. The former British diplomat, Craig Murray asserts that Starmer has always been a state asset/agent and was moved into a position where he would be able to take comtrol of a Labour Party that was moving Left and becoming a mass, popular party.

  • Just waiting for the regeneration into Billie Piper next episode and I will be finished watching the show for good. This episode was beyond awful to the point that I'm convinced RTD is trolling fans and viewers. AI-written slop.

  • You have to feel sorry for them, though. Those guys are just asset rich and cash poor... that's why the UK needs to not tax them so much and, instead, cut the benefits of those sponging disabled and poor who don't own anything. Those guys are the wealth creators (even though they actually suck the wealth out if everyone else's lives). Just feel so sorry for them.

  • Maybe. But RAF is flying surveillance over Gaza for the Israelis.

  • Breaking news: human jellyfish considers having a backbone.

  • Apologies for my would-be "appearancism" but have you seen the before and after photos of her? A bit of prison time and she now looks the part of a foaming-at-the-mouth gammon xenophobe doing time at Cell Block H.

  • I'm pretty much convinced by Craig Murray's assertion that Starmer has always been a state agent who had infiltrated Labour.

  • Permanently Deleted

  • From what I understand Kemkaran was parachuted into Kent from Bradford a couple of months before the election. Locals in Maidstone have been asking for proof that her residence is in Kent. She has a background in media and has an online history that is beginning to get some scrutiny.

From my perspective this is the start of a coup by some well-organised, well-financed right-wingers.

  • Who knows why that appearance was added to an already complex storyline (in terms of plot, the Doctor didn't have to remember her). I guess it's a case of clickbait (or whatever the term is for including something in a show just to cause online reaction).

  • And why can’t the power companies pay for this out of their eye-watering profits? I don’t understand why you think the BBC needs to be involved any more. (People I know have only had issues with smart meter installations that have caused just unnecessary stress. I’m pretty much waiting until I hear that they actually work better than half the time and that there are mechanisms to verify readings before I sign up.)

  • Surely cheaper than enforcing mass installations. (Although it’s customers doubtlessly picking up this cost.)

  • Wouldn’t it be possible just to replace the valve transmitter with a digitised version that sent out the same signal?

  • I can only agree with you.

There is also the corruption of the managerial class who collaborate in the erosion of public services. The management of schools, for instance, some of whom are recieving salaries of up to £500k.

  • Give it it’s clearest name: corruption. Permeating every aspect of life here. So normalised that it’s pretty invisible to 51% of country.
