Owning a Car Is Less Important To Younger Generations.
  • Cars are fun to me, especially older cars that have character and aren't so big and soundproof. I live out in the mountains and it really is a good time to go for a Sunday drive along twisty roads, no real destination in mind. For instance, in the fall, after a rain, with windows down, the vivid colors and smells help me slow down, clear my mind and remind me I'm part of the world, not just a passive observer.

And yes, I realize what sub this is in.

  • My main concerns are:

    1. More unsprung weight is always bad for suspension performance and handling.

    2. Whenever you have to replace the rear tire, you're also going to have to disconnect the electric connections from the motor, which coupled with the extra vibration from being unsprung, introduces a greater risk of one of the connections coming loose during riding.

    3. If you are in an accident or hit a pothole that damages the rear wheel, you're going to have to get an OEM replacement that will be expensive because the motor is integrated into it

  • A little easter egg in this comic is that the Ultramarine is primaris and the Blood Ravens are firstborn. When this comic first came out, rhinos could not transport primaris troops, so really the Ravens are just surprised that the UM is not codex compliant.

  • Oh tell me again how it loads faster and takes up less resources
  • I switched from FFX to Chrome back in the day because Chrome tabs were all independent processes in task manager, and one crappy website wouldn't kill my whole browser.

When Google started their war on addons, I switched back to Firefox.

  • What 2D printers do 3D printer people prefer?

My resin printer was powered off with resin in the vat for about 7 months. Last night I turned it on, gave it a job, and I woke up to a successful print.

My inkjet printer was powered off for 2 weeks. Last night I turned it on, gave it a job, and was instantly disappointed with a streaky, blotchy output. Running a clean cycle just made the output worse.

Why are 2D printers so terrible despite decades of development? What are some 2D printers this community has had good interactions with/would recommend?
