You know, you can just say "supernaturalism" instead of "religion". The two are not synonymous. You can have religion without supernaturalism, such as non-theistic Satanism and some forms of Buddhism. You can have supernaturalism without religion, which describes many New-Agers. I'm sure you've heard people say "I'm spiritual, but not religious", and that's what they mean by that. There are people who believe in souls and reincarnation and stuff like that, but they don't have a religion built around it.

In the case of non-theistic Satanism, there is a moral code, a set of beliefs, and a community of people with shared values, as well as holidays and rituals. Just nothing supernatural.

Yeah, but those other stats are raw numbers. Okay, we have a higher number of unhoused people and food-insecure people, but we also have a higher number of people, period. If you wanna make a point, it has to be per capita. I like how the first stat got this right, but the others did not.

People are afraid of the terminal because Windows has a shitty, unfriendly terminal. One of the things that brought me back to Linux was the cool-looking terminals. They make me feel like I'm Hackerman.

Linux isn't just a different operating system. It's a paradigm shift. Windows is always going to dominate as long as people are trapped in a Windows mindset.

What's interesting is that some people read this and think it means "bigotry isn't a problem anymore", instead of "the rich use bigotry to control the masses". You have to address bigotry as well as the economic issues.

Okay, they "don't pay taxes", but the government still takes the money and then returns it if they ask for it (i.e. file a tax return). That isn't quite the same as not paying.

Also, you have to be stupidly poor to get all of your taxes returned.
