- Eclipsefest
In case you've been under a rock lately, there will be a solar eclipse on the afternoon of April 8 and lucky us, the path of totality will pass over Fredericton.
This is shaping up to be a once-in-a-lifetime event. There will be activities around the city on the weekend leading up to the day, followed by several watch parties the day of.

The first few acts have been announced for Harvest 2024. Not bad for a start, looking forward to who else they can book.
- Freddy Fright Fest Is Back
From the website: >Welcome to the 3rd annual Freddy Fright Fest! The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (Fredericton Branch) have joined forces with Paramedic Association of NB (Nightmare on Smythe Street) to bring you Fredericton's premiere Halloween event, in support of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre and Fredericton Hospice.
>*Please note that ticket times are slotted for the hour and you are welcome to line up anytime during that period. It does not mean you get directly in when you arrive as there may be people with the same time slot, but selling tickets by the "hour" helps reduce the time standing in line :)
>We will have a bar (for 19+), silent disco, trivia, and a variety of entertainment throughout the week.
It is being held at the Capital Exhibition Centre and tickets are $20.

-The buses were on time only about 50% of the time.
-The buses were early 12% of the time.
-4 routes (10N, 11S, 12N, 13S) saw higher demand on Saturdays than during the week.
-Lincoln and Silverwood routes are barely used.
-Sunday service is being considered.
