Star Wars Legion
- A comparison of Ewoks
Just a picture of one of the official ewoks (unpainted) next to one of Anvil Rage's eowks (painted).
The Anvil Rage one is a little bigger and I think the proportions are a little better. Not sure how much I like these official designs yet... maybe they'll grown on me once I paint them up. Will probably mix and match when I play but I only play for fun so it shouldn't be a problem.
- Are GAR and CIS less fun?
I know the game started with Galactic Civil War so obviously it haw greater variety, but does anyone else feel like Clone Wars isn't as interesting to play? I sorely want a third corpse unit for GAR and CIS. Whenever I make any army for either, I feel like I always end up with less units and the upgrades don't synergize very well. Am I just not playing them right?
- Star Wars Legion STL creators
This proved a useful resource on Reddit, so I am moving it to it's new home on here:
For characters (and sometimes some vehicles and terrain):
-
Anvil Rage Studios (previously Seb Miniatures)
-
legionwars, has a few miniatures as well as bases
-
Nyverdale Tabletop, not many but all free and that Stormparty Core...
-
Order 66 Designs, have a free Darth Vader on the toilet
-
Pocket Dimension Studios, also run the Only Crates Patreon
-
Rebel Forge, good for Geonosis
-
Scythe Designs, First Order and CIS minis especially
-
Thingiverse (all free), especially McAnulty Miniatures

War Bear Studios (previously Madox 3D Design)
For terrain:
-
brander roullett, has a range of stuff but the specifically SWL terrain includes Geonosis and Modular Desert Towers
-
Printable Scenery, their Star Wars tag seems to have gone very Hobbity recently but if you dig you find some relevant bits (starting on page 7 and 8, and on 10 and 11)
-
Saucermen Studios, generic sci-fi terrain but their desert set is very Tatooine
-
War Scenery, also has some figures if you dig around
Miscellaneous:
- Deadly Print Studios, have a set of effects (muzzle flash, smoke, etc) for SWL
