  • I had to remember the order of operations, managed the correct answer after a shameful number of minutes 😬 BEDMAS helps

    • I had the order of operations with no problems, but somehow managed to calculate 18-12 = 4 which really messed me up.

      I am good at maths in theory, but tend to muddle up calculations in my head. I really need to be able to pin the numbers down on paper, in my head it's like they wriggle around on me.

      • Similar with spelling for me. Can’t do it out loud without at least air writing it with a finger, and paper is better. Odd mental blank spot.
