- Actually I looked up the lore. Everyone else were just people who were involved in the Yakubian eugenics program but bailed out early. Also apparently gorillas are white people who tried to eugenics themselves back to normal.

  The 'origin' of Gorillas honestly feels like a horror movie concept... why ought they turn into gorillas?
  
  Well I mostly saw a summary video of dubious validity. The beliefs are varied and the video didn't explain why they bailed out. The eugenic process involved lots of baby killing and torture so maybe that.
  Well according to the lore, the Yakubians were exiled to Armenia and forced to live in caves, so they became bestial in nature. That's when the gorillafication happened. Then moses was sent to civilize them but gave up.

  I thought they were exiled and gorillafied to the Middle East, where Moses was, not Central Asia...
