Russia’s industrial worker shortage reached a new high last month, the RBC news website reported Thursday, citing a survey by the Yegor Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy.
Only 2% of the surveyed enterprises said they were overstaffed, with RBC noting that the stark shortage-to-surplus of workers ratio represents the widest margin in the past 28 years.
According to an April survey by Russia's Central Bank, in the first quarter of 2023, worker shortages in Russia reached their highest level since records began in 1998.
Oh you KNOW Putin loves shooting himself in the dick. He's been doing it on the world stage for a year and a half now.
And the GOP shooting themselves in the dick...? Well I think at least some of their voters are starting to just how much their policies are hurting everyone. Like Boebert continuously voting against every policy that brings jobs into her district, and then trying to take credit when it passes anyway. She's done it before, she's about to do it again with the 850 new jobs coming in for solar energy, and people are noticing that shit. Hell the last time she tried doing a town hall people were yelling at her to do something because they were literally dying from the drought and all she wanted to talk about was the election being stolen from Trump. People noticed, and they voted pretty hard against her last year. In a district that's something like 80% republican, she only won by 500 votes, and chances are good that district will flip next time.
I don't think a GQP politician would even know how to be quiet. The only reason they got voted in was because they waved their arms around more than everyone else. In Boebert's case, she's going to lose to a Democrat because she hasn't voted even once for the benefit of her district, and the Dem candidate is pushing that out as a big part of his platform. I just hope other states are seeing similar pushes.
Imho boebert keeping her seat is worth a dozen contested seats, she's incredible for fundraising and media, she's like aoc + hunter biden to the right.
I want her there to discredit all republicans, a seat for 2 years that goes right back to a quiet segregationist is worth the price.
I would agree that she's definitely increasing the popcorn sales, but damnit I live here and she's making Colorado in general look SO bad. On a map her district covers nearly half the state and I've seen comments from people worried that the whole state is going to hell.
