Essential services like hospitals really need to come up with a low-tech emergency pen-and-paper with carbon copies plan for these sort of ransomware situations, because they won't stop happening.
This incorrectly assumes there aren't downtime procedures in place.
Turning away ambulances suggest there aren't. Not effective ones anyway.
