Food insecurity rates under the Biden eclipsed 12%, a fourth consecutive month of increase, average financial hardship and food insecurity exceed the previous three. Bidenomics is going great 🤡
The Defense Production Act allows Biden to take control of any company or industry at any time with a stroke of the pen. It has already been used many times, most recently to force dogshit capitalists (redundant I know) to build more ventilators. Biden refuses to use this act to actually make things better because he is a puppet of the capitalists. And before you say “b-b-but the SCOTUS!”—Biden could pack the courts or even use the military to stop them from meeting. Would anyone except a few handwringing liberals really care if the SCOTUS was abolished? What has the SCOTUS done for you in your lifetime? (“Gay marriage!”—except what was given with the stroke of a pen can just as easily be taken away, and is in fact being taken away as I write this.)
Liberals cannot say that Trump was a tyrannical dictator and that Biden, who holds the same office, is literally the most powerless person to ever exist in the history of humanity. The president is in fact immensely powerful, but he’s working for your boss, not for you.
It’s actually crazy to think how much power the US President has. World wide, of course, but that isn’t my interest. I’ve been saying for a long time now if Biden gave half a shit about anything he’d just simply arrest all the conservative SCOTUS justices and members of congress and hold them under military guard. Who’s gonna break them out? The cops? Random hogs? Good luck. I hope they try and simultaneously I get to see an Abrams tank get molotoved by some hog who watched a TikTok and immediately see the tank blast a squad car into fiery pieces with roasted chunks of ham and squealing nearby piggies Actually this sounds amazing.
He could hold, it’s easy enough to claim it’s protecting against an insurrection following Jan 6. I mean Trump quite literally handed Biden the excuse to purge every republican from every office and have them all lined up in front of a firing squad day 1. Who the fuck would argue that they didn’t all openly engage in a conspiracy to stop his election? No, I don’t actually think the US is a democracy nor do I overly care about the liberal democratic processes and all that BS- but their rules which we all supposedly live by, all the Republicans, to some degree, are guilty. So do the damn thing and save us all a bunch of asspain.
Of course Biden didn’t do even 1% of that because he’s a pussy first and foremost. And additionally he serves bigger masters than any of us. What Trump did ultimately didn’t threaten capital’s interests too much. Had he succeeded, things might’ve been awkward for a bit, but a few purges later everyone is going about their day again probably. That’s why there’s never been a real effort to deal with him. Had he actually been any sort of real threat to capital he could’ve been dispensed of immediately and any day since. People die in car accidents all the time… he serves capital though by providing a convenient entertaining distraction for hogs and libs alike. He passes bills capitalists want passed. He speaks out a small amount against the MIC but does nothing to actually end it. So Biden doesn’t actually care, capitalists don’t care, maybe we care, but unfortunately we don’t have tanks. I don’t anyway.
I don't think an Amerikan president could do much even with all that theoretical power; acting against the big bourgeoisie would just lead to being assassinated or neutralized in some other way
I have always thought of the president as a representing a specific cadre of the bourgeoisie that is still 99% in lock step with the rest with a little bit of pentagon infighting sprinkled in (war with Russia vs. war with China, etc.)
Biden does represent the big bourgeoisie in general (they're mostly in agreement AFAIK), like every other president, which is why he was selected; I'm talking about a hypothetical situation where he for some reason stopped being a disgusting person and decided to go off script, in which case they'd deal with him like they did with JFK (who was far from pro-worker, just not quite as obedient as they wanted)
