I don't understand why he didn't just make it anyway. Or I know why, he believes in that shit, but still. Owning the nft is just you owning a jpeg. Copyright law is meaningless here and whoever steps forward as the owner also steps forward as a thief.
I'm glad he didn't make it though, he should stick to what he's good at: Asking what if the action figure of Wonder Woman caught the action figure of Dennis the Menace, tied him up and it turns out Dennis is into bondage, which she thinks is nasty because he's a child, and then he swears.
Owning the nft is just you owning a jpeg.
Worse, it's you owning the URL to a jpeg. Owning an NFT != holding a copyright to the linked artwork.
