I would say is "what is Russia trying to do start WW3?" But then I have to stop myself because as a USA citizen my country has done and still does the same things. It just feels like the point of governments and society is so we can collectivly find better solutions to our problems not to topple other societies for our own gain.

You think a coup is anti-authoritarianism? A military coup? Are you daft? It's an absolutely authoritarian response to centuries of authoritarian dominance. Russia is fighting the imperialist bloc, African nations are fighting the imperialist bloc. They are allies in the fight against imperialism, not against authoritarianism. Only liberals in the West analyze things along "authoritarian" lines.
