He killed Hitler right before Hitler was going to suicide himself in his bunker.
Or, he was always the one that killed Hitler, we always just assumed he committed suicide...

Joke is that they killed Hitler in the same bunker he committed suicide in at the end of WW2, along with his wife and dog, so it achieved nothing.
