I rarely delete stuff. Just buy more storage.
Anyway, I am currently waiting for 1TB Micro SD cards to get cheaper.
buy big spinny hard drives instead
Can't quite put them inside my phone.
But maybe if I'll ever get to constructing my own phone it will have space for a 2.5" HDD.
But calling what I am thinking of a phone is quite a stretch.maybe don't keep everything on your phone then, or at least keep it backed up to somewhere else.
Data shouldn't ever just be on one device
