No, it is not tribal murder. Genocide means racial or tribal murder. Use the correct language.

Ad lib, Alias, Alibi ,Alma mater ,Alter ego, Ante meridiam/Post meridiam, Bona fide ,Carpe diem, Caveat, Consensus, Ergo, Et cetera, In memoriam, Magnum opus, Per capita, Per se, Pro bono, Status quo, Veni vidi vici, Verbatim, and Vice versa are latin words that are still commonly used across all languages.
