  • The 3rd pane needs to have "Jewish" removed. Israel does not represent Judaism, and claiming that they do is antisemitic

    • USA likewise do not represent entire christianity but is undeniably christian white supremacy state, and claiming that isn't antichristian.

    • It's not claiming that Israel represents Judaism, it is merely describing the group of people carrying out the genocide. Israel does not represent all Jewish people, however Jewish people from Israel are committing genocide.

      • Jewishness does not tie into why Israel is committing genocide. Also, the IDF is secular. If it was anyone else committing war crimes, why would you bring up their religion? Israel claiming that they represent Judaism is a trap, and it's important not to fall for that trap by associating Israel with Judaism. Judaism is not related to their genocide.

        • Israel is committing genocide. Over 73% of Israel is Jewish containing over 45% of the world's Jewish population. The next highest population of Jewish citizens is the United States with over 39% of the world's Jewish population. The next highest country is under 4% of the world's Jewish population.

Not I nor the comic are claiming that Israel represents the collective whole of Judaism. Also, in 2018, Israel passed a law which specifies the nature of the State of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people.

I reiterate, the comic is merely describing the people committing the genocide. According to the numbers, even as secular as the IDF is, nearly 3 out of 4 soldiers is Jewish.

Judaism may not be related to the genocide, but it is impossible not to associate Israel and Judaism, based on global census and Israel's own laws.

    • I meant to say White Jewish Supremacy, since they only want white Jews there. I will edit it.

    • Permanently Deleted

      • Associating Israel's war crimes with Zionism is not antisemitic, but associating them with Judaism is. If the 3rd panel said Zionist instead of Jewish, it would be just fine. Since the !memes@hexbear.net post seems to have gotten removed, presumably due to that, you might have more luck re-submitting with that change.

    • Why? Calling someone a Christian White Supremacist isn't implying that they somehow represent Christianity. It implies that they use their Christianity as a basis for their actions as a white supremacist. It is entirely accurate and appropriate in this context.
