In Undead Nightmare, Rockstar went out of their way to give the cartoonishly anti-semitic general store owner NPC in Armadillo a ludicrous death scene

frothingfash >You can't eat me, I'm HERBERT MOON!!!!

John Marston just basically shrugged his shoulders when he got eaten miyazaki-laugh

I'm enjoying Undead Nightmare so far. They didn't even attempt to take the premise seriously and it's essentially just Red Dead Redemption: Halloween Special. The moon's a sickly yellow color and there's black goats and vampire bats in place of normal animals

  • I wish they had done something ridiculous like this for RDR 2.

For some reason, the part of Undead Nightmare that I best remember is the Bigfoot quest. I can't even remember how the main quest ends lol.

    • No single player DLC for you capitalist-laugh

It looks like they instead tried to repeat the GTA Online model with Red Dead Online but it failed to gain enough traction so they just gave up on the whole game. It's frustrating to see how much time and money they put into multiplayer updates, each one has several cutscenes with new characters, cutscenes and celebrity cameos and all you can think of is how cool it would've been if they had used those resources for another Undead Nightmare or GTA IV-style expansions.

      • Gay Tony was such a banger

      • each one has several cutscenes with new characters, cutscenes and celebrity cameos

Is there a list somewhere with the cameos? I just want to be mad that I missed Danny Trejo or whatever because I never bothered with the multiplayer part of the extremely long cowboy game.

        • I meant GTA Online's expansions, several of which feature DJs, musicians and music producers whom I assume are very big with the kids these days as themselves

          • Had to look this up:

The notable real-life celebrities & associates featured in the contracts DLC include Dr. Dre, DJ Pooh, Anderson .Paak, Lola Romero, and Jimmy Iovine.

I have no idea what's popular now, but these are all mostly pretty old. Anderson Paak has a newish record out with Bruno Mars, but I'd be shocked if Gen Z and younger are into him.
