It is the fault of the constituency. People can run for office while opposing Israel, but voters have been brainwashed into thinking otherwise.

People who run for office while opposing Israel end up with AIPAC targeting them. Next you're going to say that it's the constituency's fault for big money deciding political races and that it shouldn't matter that 100 million is being dumped to fight progressives.
Running for congress takes money. Run for office while opposing Israel and your opponent will suddenly be flush with cash.
It's not the constituency's fault that they're being bombarded with propaganda and only presented with bad choices.
