Cyberbullying can’t be undone simply by “turning off your computer”. These are real people harassing other real people and profiting off of the fact they are anonymous and probably won’t be held accountable for their vileness, meanwhile the victim will just suffer and be scared to even wake up in the morning. This shit is SERIOUS, especially for those with cluster B personality disorders who are already HEAVILY stigmatized as it is. The internet is supposed to be a save haven, and the only way to maintain that is through fighting and actively pointing out toxic people such as yourself.

In our real day-to-day lives we are normally forced to reconcile with that, because we see our neighbors constantly and depend on one another. But on the internet we don't need to reconcile that, because it's just an anonymous throwaway space where words battle words. But not the Fediverse! Because the Fediverse is small enough, we bump into each other constantly. We'd be wasting a golden opportunity by reducing a person to a set of opinions.
If you really want to make the Fediverse a better place, which I believe you do and which is why I'm responding again, then you and I and everyone else need to focus on seeing people for who they are beyond the screen. It's doable on here. We're small enough. We see the same usernames all the time. Did you know I'm a happily married drug counselor in my 30s? You do now! Am I more than just the asshole who told you to chill? What could OP do to reach the same goal? What can you do to facilitate that? Is the best course of action to just roast the guy every time you see his posts? Or find a way to reconcile? I think you and I have the same goals. Maybe OP too.

So clearly, if you were to not make any posts for a week, you believe I would still see your old posts and still comment on them. While according to my hypothesis, I would not see any of your posts nor comment on them, except at the beginning while your posts were still trending. So let's test it. Don't post for a week and see if I comment on your posts.

This is an experiment. Stamets made up some unsubstantiated bullshit and I, who am actually in a position to know firsthand, said it's not true. Stamets said it is, again with no evidence because he's a big liar, and I told him how he can prove it if he wants not to be called a liar. He is not going to bother to prove it, because he knows he's a liar. But if he weren't a liar, this is how the scientific method works and how we as a society actually find truth.

That user is otherwise known as DroneRights. You can check modlogs and see that they've had accounts on every major instance and every account has been banned for transphobia, general bigotry, slander, and copious amounts of lying. They particularly hate me because I am both a popular poster as well as someone who specifically called out their shit and got them banned from Startrek.website. They openly admit that they have narcissistic personality disorder and are using that to both abuse other people as well as shield themselves from abuse. They are literally incapable of coping with the fact that someone has pointed out that they are a trash person and has made it their sole mission to try and slander me at every possible case.
I banned them from 3 communities earlier today for making these exact same claims about me and providing zero evidence but these comments still exist elsewhere.
Honestly I just keep forgetting they exist. I think they're drastically overselling how important they think they are. Only reason I'm even aware of their existence is because they just keep copy/pasting the same argument over and over again. Literally not creative enough to come up with anything new.

How was it even matched to DroneRights? Can you show me the proof it was? Could you please give everyone the damning piece of evidence that proves once and for all that I am an alt account of DroneRights. If my IP was matched to DR’s IP, then I need to see this. I am genuinely stupefied by this. Like, genuinely give me a link to the modlogs or send a screenshot, any sort of proof. I did not know my IP was matched to theirs. I know my IP should be Romanian because that’s where I am from, and indicating Bucharest because we are using a private relay on our iPhone (the iCloud+ thing).

If you have a mental disorder that prevents you from behaving nicely online, it may be wiser not to comment. Because people won't see your NPD as an excuse, but as a justification showing that you do demonstrate bad behaviour and therefore are prone to breaking the (social) rules. Ergo justifying the ban.
