The Senate is working through the weekend on a $95.3 billion foreign aid bill with assistance for Ukraine and Israel, but it may still be days until a final vote as GOP Sen. Rand Paul continues to slow the process.
Should they even bother when the House won't do shit? I mean don't get me wrong, Ukraine desperately needs the aid, but until the House plays ball, they aren't going to get it, and Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise only care about doing the opposite of what Biden wants.
Republicans presently have only a one member margin in their majority. So, you are saying there are no Republicans that will vote for a foreign aid package. I don't think that's the case.
Ukraine is taking care of our problem for us, namely any threat from Russia. Aiding Ukraine is one of the best possible investments the U.S. could make in terms of tipping the global balance of power in America's favor.
But I suppose you think Putin is our friend and Zelensky is a Nazi.
