Fanboys still simp for Zerg anyways, Heart of the Swarm was such an overdose of liberalism that i started rooting for random supernova wiping that embarassing sector from the existence.
Btw, speaking of Koprulu sector, anyone else have the feel that just from its name we can conclude that for humanity is is some really deep shithole in the far nowhere?
Zerg are cool as fuck as far as genocidal bugs go but the ending for kerrigan is soooooo lame - pulling the plot back from the morally ambiguous meatgrinder war in Brood War to simply "Raynor's a cowboy who's gonna save his bug gf, who then becomes space jesus" 😒
edit: also im pretty sure canonically the koprulu sector is the ass-end of nowhere
“Raynor’s a cowboy who’s gonna save his bug gf, who then becomes space jesus”
Precisely. Also i singled out HoS because Arcturus Mengsk is being potrayed as huge and incredible villain because he did not played clean with Raynor and Kerrigan, which is also understandable considering Kerrigan even after getting free is genocidal maniac and Raynor is loose screw complicit in the death of billions, but completely ignoring his merits. And the fact that in the process of getting private revenge on him Kerrigan, with Raynor help, murder multiple planetary populations of who knows how many billions and everyone is cool with that because Mengsk bad.
Also Kerrigan as Zerg queen has one of the worst and most ridiculously sexualised character design ever which includes a fucking chitinous battle heels for fucks sake. She should look like Stukov, but then libs wouldn't probably root for zerg, or at least do it for better reasons (i still don't think ravenous swarms are cool)

Yeah i checked wiki and it's nearly other side of the galaxy. They also named one of the colony ships "Reagan" lol, this is how fucked they are. A propos Stukov, the fact that they even bothered to show and try to conquer that place must mean whatever main polity humanity has must be rivalling Warhammer or Foundation empires in size.
I do kinda love the sense of scale the UED's presence establishes; the fact that it takes all three factions concentrating all their power (well most of it, kerrigan was also spending like half of hers on backstab plots) to beat up this one expeditionary fleet and make the UED go "fine, fuck it we'll leave you backwater hicks alone" is really funny to me
Yeah entire expedition was presented as a doomsday armada, but to the UED it might be something that was cooked by clerical error or some local governor side project and after failure it was just sweeped under the rug and Earth never even heard about it.
