Wouldnt this kill signal? Everyone would just dump signal and use whatsapp to talk to their one weird friend (me} who insists on using signal only

A bunch of my friends and family only installed signal to talk to me and maybe a few other people.
Now you tell them "you can use whatsapp to chat with these privacy nerds..."
Instant Signal uninstall from my family....

Sure. I 100% agree with you... I should not and DO NOT dictate what apps other people use..
But if 50% of the userbase uninstalls signal, you dont think this is going to be detrimental to their organization?
