Some Vanderbilt students will have $100,000 in total expenses for the 2024-25 school year. The school doesn’t really want to talk about it.

Even in the USA it wasn’t that bad 20 years ago. The priciest schools now are just getting there now
I mean, mine was 65k for a BA 20 years ago, and it wasn’t some Ivy League school.
I mean, a 30k year in 20 years is a big increase. And plenty of private schools are on par with Ivies in terms of cost
🤷♂️ education has been expensive for a while is all I’m saying. It’s not new.
Twenty years ago the going rate at private liberal arts colleges in the US was $40k/yr (including room and board). What is an example of a school that was charging 2.5x that?
Mine was 65k 20 years ago. I’m pretty sure I can find a more prestigious school than mine who charges more.
