I wipe mine down with isopropyl on a paper towel daily.

It's okay; I'm only wiping down the case, which has a built-in screen protector. No alcohol is actually touching the screen.

It doesn't damage the screen, but can remove the oleophobic (anti-smudge) coating that most phones come with. It is damaged with use anyway, like a non-stick pan.
