As someone born and raised in the USA, countries elsewhere absolutely should be blocking virtually all of our news media. We're a toxic cesspool of entertainment/propaganda news, with an increasingly deadly end result for its consumers, and those around them.

Not everyone agrees. Allowing a government to decide who is a bad actor and ban the media is bad, that's how countries fall into dictatorships and create narrative for their citizens. Just look at nazi Germany.

All countries permit the state to censor foreign speach... Most citizens accept this, censoring citizen speach is the issue.
