Banks provide a lot more services than credit unions or building societies. Banks also provide B2B services. So there's no scenario for everyone to move away from banks. I'd say that Britain has one of the most advanced financial markets with many different players like building societies, challenger banks etc, but traditional banks still have plenty of business to do. What usually happens here is that people actually use multiple service providers for different purposes. Having 5+ accounts is normal here.

Well, I don't know how it works in Belgium, but in the UK cows are usually moved between fields and field owners sometimes even pay for grazing animals to graze on their fields to keep them tidy. Paying for soy VS getting paid for grazing is a no brainer here.

I'd like the solution to be open source. I want the solution to be web browser accessible and have nice load graphs with history. I don't want to spend too much time setting it up.

I was doing some bike maintenance today and wanted to disassemble my rear hub. It turned out that I needed a 12mm Allen bit for that, which I don't have. So I 3D printed one! And it worked! Torques safely to 5Nm and I only needed 4Nm for the job. Haven't tested higher torques.
