I'm on your side, man. I'm on here bitching on "BOTH SIDES" types all day long. I'm voting for Biden (or, on the off-chance he's replaced, whoever the fuck is put up as a viable alternative to Trump). Voting to intensify genocide, as with a vote for Trump or a failure to oppose Trump with one's vote, is never acceptable.
It's just that we also must accept, as citizens, that we bear a part of the responsibility of this mess, and at no point can we look back at this and say "Well, as the American people, our choice to tepidly support genocide wasn't THAT bad, or geopolitical concerns justified it"
Our choice is dogshit. Even if it was 100% reversed now, it would remain dogshit, albeit much less dogshit than continuing or intensifying it. And we have to square with that on our souls.

Sure. And in a critical, life-altering election such as this, we can all still care about what’s for dinner, and what color shirt to wear, and whether evil Spock looked better than good Spock because of the goatee.
But saying “nothing justifies genocide” (which i’d hope we all agree with) is very clearly another attempt to say GeNoCiDe JoE and we’ve heard enough about that. Reductionist bullshit has led to a don’t-vote / Democrats-bad talking point which, totally coincidentally, was the very talking point the GRU was found to have pushed relentlessly in 2016. It’s why multiple russian nationals have arrest warrants out for them. It’s not arguable that it happened then and it’s happening now - totally coincidentally! HA! - again.
Fuck that. After we save Democracy in this country and many, many other critical things that need saving - we will all join hands and stop this horrifying tragedy one way or another.
But putting THIS image up NOW is bullshit. And saying “oh we can think about multiple things” is very much beside the point that it is posted specifically to hurt voter turnout and the Democrats’ chances.
If you want to argue whether or not that was the intention, let’s not. It was, and the obviousness of that does not need defense. “Oh they just don’t like genocide, they weren’t thinking about the months long troll operations using that exact theme when they posted it” yeah right.
We cannot fuck around like this. We are weeks away from utter goddamned disaster if we don’t start talking about and supporting Democratic victory. If that needs to be explained to anyone, someone please do that.
