I think the oil they're deep fried in takes the place of the butter. As for sour cream, I'm not a fan in general so I couldn't tell you.

3 1 ReplyWe’re used to white vinegar up here. First time I asked for vinegar in the US and got this malt thingy I was very disappointed lol
2 0 ReplyWhite vinegar on fries??? I don't know why but that sounds horrible lol I mostly use white vinegar for cleaning
3 1 ReplyIt's good, both are available with fish and chips here. Malt vinegar is definitely superior though.
