Dialects and accents are not the sameFinally someone points it out. I did this specifically to antagonise linguists
The honest answer is that socialism is when funny accent, communism is when funny dialect
Accent is when can't pronounce "purple burglar alarm"
Dialect is when English goes - "Divvint Hoy Me Ganzy in the Clarts"... and you understand merely by context
