11 2 ReplyThis would be great if waiting to the last second didn't result in cutting people off, forcing them to slow down as you essentially "cut in line".

This certainly depends on the area's driving culture. But yes. When I merge I aim to not make anyone hit their brakes to accommodate me. Keep it flowing smoothly and we all succeed.
