Grouped Communities question
Grouped Communities question
When I make a Grouped Community it appears as though the posts are all still sorted by Community first, then Hot/New/etc. I sort of expected all the posts to be blended together into a single list based on Hot/New/etc. I hope I am missing a setting somewhere, and that this is not the intended behavior.

It doesn't work and it's rather misleading to have as a paid feature until it does.
Well… that’s unfortunate. I decided to pay largely because of this feature. Do you know if there has been any communication as to when it may be working properly/better?
No idea, I tried out Bean while it was in open test flight and was confused when the app dev went ahead with advertising this feature once it went paid. It's definitely a standout among other Lemmy clients but unfortunately it's half baked. I remained subscribed to this community to keep an eye out for when it is properly implemented.

This feature feels very like it’s in alpha stage at the moment. I’m really looking forward to seeing how it gets improved in the future. Basically, I want to replicate my complicated multireddit setup I used to have on Reddit, but this feature clearly isn’t anywhere near ready yet.
The good thing is, this app has a healthy financial model, so hopefully the development isn’t hindered by volunteers being busy with their actual day job. Hobby projects can be awesome, but progress at Debian pace isn’t for everyone.
