I don’t see the problem with this search result. You searched for Lemmy clients and the first link gives a list of Lemmy clients for Android. It happens to be on Reddit but it does match your search.
The problem is why is reddit at the top it's not lemmy which is lemmies competitor

Who fucking cares, dude? The thread was about Lemmy clients. That is still a very relevant result to your question. If the first result was a thread on Steam's forums I wouldn't care either as long as it's a good thread relevant to your question.
I get it, hate Reddit more than most. I hope they pull a Digg and become irrelevant.
The problem is that google is invested in Reddit. Of course Reddit is coming up first. We know google is evil and they only care about profits.

Google doesn't have any reason to think you care about competition based on your query. You asked for a specific bit of information and it showed you websites with that information.
If you want a result from a specific website, you need to specify that in your search query. Otherwise, stop complaining about getting the answer you were looking for.
