Apparently there's been rumors that the upcoming game is banned in Saudia Arabia because it will feature LGBTQ+ characters:

Predictably, this rumor has enraged the anti-woke and grifters who are now calling for a boycott and have raided the game's Steam forum which has turned into a cesspit.

This is very funny, because the co-founder/lead writer/director of Warhorse Studios was a big GamerGate supporter and is a chud who's always sided with these shitheads.

"Any posts, comments, or behaviour perpetuating these harmful ideologies will be removed, and offenders will face swift action," PLAION_MY4NH wrote. Consequences for violating the code of conduct will range from warnings and post deletion to temporary or permanent bans from the forum.

Now he's fighting with the audience he himself helped to cultivate over the years.

Of course, there's absolutely no indication that the queer characters in the game will be represented positively. Considering the history of the developer it's very possible that they'll be treated horribly because of muh "historical accuracy".
