  • For real. Every wealthy carnist I know will post something to IG about that one time they had "free range". The rest of the time, it's the cheapest meat possible.

    • They always lie about buying “free range humane meat from family farms” when in reality they don’t even check the labels at the supermarket, it’s their get-of-jail-card.

      Slaughtering animals is always horrible no matter what the setting is like. They meet the same knife at the end.

      • Last month there was a .ee user who was arguing that we should be promoting hunting, because "sustainability yo". Never argued against the fact that the average Amerikan isn't gonna get more than 1% of their calories from hunting anyways.
