I like to imagine an alt reality where some nice English teacher saw little Elon struggling and was nice to him and prevented his evil brainworms and he grew up to be a SciFi writer who only occasionally talked about his weird upbringing when being interviewed with the SFWA. Still addicted to ketamine though.
