I don't understand why something like Vegas gets a special livery but historical and prestigious races like Monaco don't. Same for Miami

5 1 ReplyThat's one team and 2 years ago
2 2 ReplySorry that exactly what you asked for wasn't good enough. How about Red Bull's special Japanese livery or Alfa Romeo's special Italian livery?
6 1 ReplyThat redbull tho 👌
2 0 ReplyOne is for celebrating Honda and the other the home country of the title sponsor.
2 2 ReplyOK... so?

Monaco has a cult following already and doesn't need the hype. Vegas and Miami are newer and still trying to justify their place on the calendar. It's a marketing strategy.
FWIW Charles had a special race suit for Monaco this year. Definitely more driver oriented but still coordinated with and approved by the team. It's not a livery but it's something.
4 0 ReplyYeah also Monaco is his hometown. I'm talking about spending untold thousands of euro for stripping the paint from carbon fiber and repainting
