I did say "this fall," but yeah, I'm definitely not voting for Biden in the primaries, I completely hate the guy, I just hate Republicans way way way more
Yes and no, primaries are a joke; i.e. what happened to Sanders. The democratic party harpooned his campaign anytime they could in preference of their pre-ordained crap choice.
I'm not generally in favour of encouraging to not vote for a candidate they want. So regardless of the results of previous primaries, I'm going to advocate for people to, you know, vote. Didn't realize that was a spicy take here.

Best way forward I think is a) don't give them the chance b) harpoon as many moderate douchebags in primaries as we can. Party leadership has a lot of power over the process, way more than they should, but there are limits to what they can do and what the less engaged voters who make up most of their base will let them get away with, if they become aware of those things.
