Citizenship Rule

I will not kill spiders or a wide variety of other bugs/insects, but I draw the line at ants, ticks, flies, fruit flies, wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets when I find them in my home (bees are cool). I will mercilessly slaughter every one of them and leave their corpses as trophies and as a warning to their kin.
