You could, but you'd be missing the tang the vinegar gives. If you're going to boof it, I guess you don't need the vinegar. An alcohol extract would basically be pepper vodka, not hot sauce... I've made that with habaneros and serranos, and I loved it, as a drink.
Especially in states where Trump's electoral votes are a foregone conclusion.
