I'm in the UK, it is raining and my cat is VERY MAD

Last night, we had a huge thunderstorm. It was the kind that shakes the windows and knocks out the power for a bit. My poor pup hid in the bathroom, shivering in the dark. He was very happy when the storm passed.
- Oh no! I hope he got a big hug! My cat was overjoyed that it wasn't raining this morning, but it is very windy and it really works her up - so I now have a hyper cat, rather than a mad cat, which in practice is not much difference!
