Sonic 3 producer says it’s going to be a "giant, fun, incredible movie" that "takes a lot from Sonic Adventure 2"

I’m really surprised they went with Shadow instead of Metal Sonic. Thematically Metal Sonic fits with all the Robotnik arsenal happening in the stories. Shadow is more at the forefront of stuff now, so I guess that’s why. I assume Shadow will be good by the end of it, similar to Knuckles, and the final boss may still end up being a version Metal Sonic maybe?
