Forgive my ignorance in geography...what are the English/Dutch/French countries to the north of Brazil?

Also really weird to learn they use the Euro there lol
8 0 ReplySame for the few Caribbean islands speaking French, they are French "départements"
2 0 ReplyIndeed, you can even see French Guyana depicted on the map on the back of the Euro banknotes (usually on a map window in the lower left corner).

2 0 ReplyFrance is still a colonial power though they rarely seems to getting as much flak as their island rival. It leads to some fun facts like "EUs largest national park is in the Amazon rainforest" and "France is the country with the most timezones (13)".
